KUMA - “IF ONLY YOU”
Here’s a dreamy new track called “If Only You” from a mysterious producer under the moniker kuma. The track features a breathtaking arrangement of flickering and tapping beat work, delicately sweeping synths, cascading arpeggios, and sweet, pitch-shifted vocal samples. With its soft, yet rich textures, the track gets our vote as a go-to spring time lullaby.

KINSHIP - “MAKE ME FEEL”
Here’s a brand new track from Vancouver’s Kinship called “Make Me Feel”. The producer is somewhat new to the electronic scene, but this new number would suggest otherwise. The producer creates an unbelievably stunning flip of The Temptations’ “Get Ready”, taking the song’s vocal skeleton and laying them bare across a hypnotizing cloudy atmosphere. How the producer managed to take such pop-driven vocals and weave them seamlessly into the track as seductive r&b vocals is beyond us. Definitely an up-and-coming producer to keep tabs on. Grab the track and check out the rest of his work over at Soundcloud.

SMALL BLACK - “LINES OF LATITUDE (FEAT. FRANKIE ROSE)”
The brand new track “Lines of Latitude” from Brooklyn’s Small Black is simply breathtaking. The degree of skilled musicianship is made explicit in this gorgeous new piece, albeit through much subtlety. The track is brilliantly soaked in an 80′s atmosphere of quietly soaring synths, gated reverb drums, delicate echoes, and soft, crystalline vocals that float about. The track can be found on their upcoming EP Real People which is set to be released on April 1st via Jagjaguwar. Pre-order is available here.
